I would love to offer you a seat and a cup of home-roasted coffee, to hear more about you. But since you asked…Who are we?
My name is Sara, and I married a guy named Andy 14+ years ago. He is my best friend, soul mate, and lifelong fling. We have been blessed with 3 lively, witty, adventurous, creative boys. Now that we live in Brazil, I’m a homeschooling momma. I still love to bake (gluten-free), create, garden, knit, sew, explore. But my days are filled with teaching kids and learning Portuguese. Our days range from loud and messy to full and fun. Sometimes all of the above. But there is always something to love.
We believe in a God above all gods. We believe that He is the holy and righteous Creator of all things. And we can experience a life of peace with Him. Not because of anything we have done or could ever do. But because He sent His Son to this earth. God in flesh. God with us, Jesus. Who lived a perfect life, died as a payment for our sin, conquering death so that we may have life! We are deeply loved. Fully forgiven. Abundantly alive. Forever free.
All glory to Him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by shedding His blood for us! (Revelation 1.5) We believe Jesus is worthy of our praise, our lives, our all. I don’t know what the journey of this life will hold, but I trust the One who holds us.
We believe this life is not all there is. The Bible tells us: “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with me, to render to every man according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end” (Revelation 22.12-13). Again, this is where coffee and a seat would be nice. Because I would love to ask where you stand with our holy and righteous God. He is the Alpha and Omega. The Beginning and the End. One day we will stand before this One who breathed life into our bodies. I pray you will meet Him in His favor, rather than His wrath.
There is only One way to be sure.
Jesus said, “I AM the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14.6)
Let’s make the most of this life. Because the End is only just the beginning.
